Healthy Oil free Murukku
The murukku is an Indian snack usually deep fried in oil.
This is a simple recipe of a murukku. it can be modified to have many flavours and tastes.
take half a cup of whole rice flour like brown rice flour
add quarter cup of peanut butter
add salt to taste and blend the dry ingredients in a blender
now add 1 tbsp sesame seeds
use enough soya milk to make a soft dough
use a chakali maker and extrude the dough into murukku’s onto a silicone sheet
bake in an oven at 140 for 30 to 40 minutes
the sesame seeds can be replaced with jeera or ajwain seeds for a completely different flavor.
