Orange Yogurt Cake is eggless, moist, tender, mildly sweet and bursting with fresh orange flavour in each bite!
This an easy, healthy recipe that is perfect to make and store for your teatime snacks. No frosting needed!
Almond Flour 1 cup
Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
Aluminium-Free Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
Baking soda 1 tablespoon
Soy or Almond Yogurt ½ cup
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Orange juice 1 cup
Orange zest 1 tsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Date paste 1 cup
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
Keep an 8 inch silicone mold ready.
Mix all the measured ingredients, almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. (Whisk well)
Mix yogurt, date paste, and orange juice until well combined and smooth in another large bowl.
Now add orange zest and vanilla extract. (Whisk until well combined)
Now add the dry and wet ingredients together and mix well.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes.
After it is baked remove the cake pan and keep it on a cooling rack.
Let the cake cool completely before removing it from the pan.
After the cake is cooled, remove the cake and serve it with some orange slices.
