There is no scientific study done on when to eat flax seeds, morning or night. You can eat it anytime. Dr. Michael Greger recommends eating 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds daily, perhaps half a spoon each morning and evening. He also says ground flax seeds are better than whole flax seeds or flaxseed oil.
We recommend you eat a flaxseed laddu after lunch and dinner. A flaxseed laddu contains half a tablespoon of ground flaxseeds mixed with ground dates and half the required Vitamin B12 dose for an adult per day.
Flax seeds ground or whole?
Flax seeds come with a rigid hull. If you eat them whole, they will not get digested and pass out as stools. So, you must grind them first before consuming them.
