Here’s our take on a sugar-free, eggless and dairy-free tea cake that is perfect for when the cravings hit

Ingredients
1-½ cups wheat flour
2 cups date paste (1 cup dates soaked in 1 cup water and ground smooth)
½ cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons aluminium free baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
¾ cup mashed banana
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dry dates powder
½ cup cashew butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. This is the wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, dry dates powder and salt.
Mix together the wet ingredients in another bowl. This is the date paste, cashew butter, mashed banana and vanilla.
Now mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients together until you get a smooth batter.
Pour into a silicone cake mould and bake for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs.
After it is baked, take it out and let it cool for some time, then you can decorate the cake according to your convenience and it's ready to eat!
