Ingredients
½ head of Cabbage
¼ cup Peanuts
1 Dried Red Chili
1 tsp Date Syrup
½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
2 tsp Miso Paste
10 Basil Leaves
Juice of 1 Lemon
Directions
Finely shred cabbage using a mandolin or peeler.
Soak peanuts overnight or at least for 3 hours.
Once soaked, grind peanuts to a smooth paste with red chili, date syrup, and minimal water.
Cook peanut paste, adding more water if required, for five minutes until raw smell goes away. Mix in miso paste and black pepper powder, and garnish chopped cabbage with this sauce.
Finely chop basil leaves. Garnish spicy cabbage peanut salad with basil leaves and lemon juice. Serve fresh!
